    Moscow Rd 7 - Sasikiran in sole lead

    Sasikiran won his Rd 7 game against GM Dmitry Andreikin (2635) and is in sole lead with a score of 6.0/7 and a Rating Performance of 2841. He is scheduled to play GM Le Quang Liem (2648) in the penultimate round of the tournament. With just 2 rounds to go he is half a point ahead of the other contenders and it is his tournament to lose from here.

    Sasikiran had an amazing run of success during the last 2 months where he played Asian Team Championship, World Team Championship & is now playing in Moscow Open. Sasikiran will continue his Russa trip by playing in the A1 Group of the Aeroflot Open.

    Sasikiran's current live rating is 2688.1 which is a gain of 35.1 over his Jan rating and he has gained 13.8 elo from the Moscow open so far.

    All the best Sasi, to touch that 2700 mark again, which is possible before the March rating list if he can finish this tournament and contine the good form he is in into the Aeroflot Open.......
